Nurse consultants from Actief Case Management, Inc. are located throughout California. We assign the nearest available qualified nurse. On a more limited basis we have nurses in Texas, Nevada and Colorado.

Several of our nurses have second state licenses to cover the border of California/Nevada. We have found this necessary when a claimant works in one state but lives in the other. While we usually travel by car, we accept remote assignments requiring air transportation when asked by the claim manager.

Remote assignments are requested when a claim has run on, accumulating costs and sometimes penalties, without sufficient information returned to the claim manager. Claim managers find overall costs decreased after authorizing one or two visits by a professional nurse to address, clarify and resolve a problem.

Actief Case Management, Inc. nurses prorate travel time and mileage whenever reasonably possible.
